Sugar mills in Uttarakhand are yet to clear pending cane dues of Rs 231.45 crore to the cane farmers.
The information was tabled in the state assembly by Sugarcane development minister Yatishwaranand on Friday.
He was replying to the question asked by BJP MLA Deshraj Karnawal.
The sugarcane farmers are yet to receive cane dues worth Rs 179.30 crore from the Iqbalpur sugar mill, Rs 18.83 crore from Libberheri sugar mill and Rs 33.32 crore from Laskar sugar mills, he said.
