Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 30th August at 765.04 points higher at 56,889.76. Nifty ended 233.10 points higher at 16,938.30.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 27th August at 175.62 points higher at 56,124.72. Nifty ended 68.30 points higher at 16,705.20.
Bharti Airtel, Divis Labs, Axis Bank, Tata Steel and Coal India were the top Nifty gainers. Tech Mahindra, Eicher Motors, Nestle, Infosys and TCS were among the top losers.
