Domestic Market:
The market witnessed scanty demand. Sugar prices are moderately lower across India.
State wise Prices as on 6th September 2021 :
◾ Maharashtra: S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3370 to ₹3470/Qntl. whereas M/30 is at ₹3520 to 3570/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3495 to 3570/Qntl. whereas M/30 is at ₹3545 to 3510/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rate for M/30 is ₹3600/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3541 to 3551/Qntl. whereas M/30 is at ₹3621 to 3651/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates were at ₹3640 to 3700/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates were at ₹3700 to 3750/Quintal.

International Market:
Yesterday’s Closing:
On Friday sugar prices closed moderately lower on Brazilian crop concerns. London White Sugar closed at $485.10/ton down $3.80 whereas New York Sugar closed down 0.28 points at 19.62 cents per pound.
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $484.80/tn whereas the New York Sugar is not trading due to Labor Holiday in the USA.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices: The rupee traded against the US dollar at 73.091 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.1923 Crude futures traded at Rs.5038, Crude WTI traded at $68.89 a barrel. Sensex closed 166.96 points higher at 58,296.91 whereas Nifty ended 54.20 points higher at 17,377.80
