Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended flat today. Sensex closed on 08th September at 29.22 points lower at 58,250.26. Nifty ended 8.60 points lower at 17,353.50.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 07th September at 17.43 points lower at 58,279.48. Nifty ended 15.70 points lower at 17,362.10.
Among the sectors, Nifty Bank, private bank, PSU bank and financial services indices rose about a percent each. On the flip side, IT, media, auto and pharma indices ended in the red.
