Kashipur, Uttarakhand: Sugarcane farmers associated with the Bajpur sugar mill met the GM, Kailash Singh Toliya, and demanded that the mill should start cane crushing operations from the first week of November.
A delegation of the farmers met the GM and urged him to start the sugar mill by the first week of November. They also demanded that the sugar mill should not stop operations due to some technical issues after starting the cane crushing activities.
GM assured farmers to take note of their demands and urged them to cooperate with the sugar mill during the crushing operations.
