Mandya: Members of Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha along with farmers took out a motorcycle rally in Mandya demanding the revival of the MySugar factory.
According to the news report published in deccanherald.com, members made an effort to lay a siege to the deputy commissioner’s office to press for their demand of running the sugar mill by the government.
The agitating members also demanded that the state government should increase pressure on the centre to hike the FRP of sugarcane to Rs 4,000 per tonne.
They warned of protests in Mysuru city and surrounding districts during Dasara celebrations if government fail to revive the mill.
