Market Scenario:
Market witnessed moderate demand nationwide in the morning. The market went quiet after an additional quota of 2.5 LMT was announced for domestic sale in the month of September 2021.
State wise prices as on September 24th, 2021 :
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3300 to ₹3430/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3370 to 3600/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3380 to 3450/Qntl. M/30 is at ₹3370 to 3600/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 are ₹3500/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3361 to 3441/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3501 to 3531.
◾ Tamil Nadu: No rates today

Yesterday’s Closing:
On Friday sugar prices closed lower on weakness in the Brazilian real against the US Dollar.
London White Sugar closed at $504.30/ton down $9.10 whereas New York Sugar closed down 0.39 points at 19.10 cents per pound.
