Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 27th September at 29.41 points higher at 60,077.88. Nifty ended 1.90 points higher at 17,855.10.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 24th September at 163.11 points higher at 60,048.47. Nifty ended 30.25 points higher at 17,853.20.
Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, M&M, ONGC and Hero MotoCorp were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included HCL Technologies, Divis Labs, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and Bajaj Finserv.
