Mumbai: Equity benchmark Sensex plunged in early trade on Friday.
At 10:32 am, the 30-share Sensex was trading 360.09 points lower at 58,766.27. Similarly, the Nifty declined 109.65 points to 17,508.50.
Maruti was the top loser in the Sensex pack followed by HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finserv, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel and HDFC.
On the other hand, PowerGrid, NTPC, Bajaj Auto, M&M and Dr Reddy”s were among the gainers.
