Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 04th October at 533.74 points higher at 59,299.32. Nifty ended 159.20 points higher at 17,691.25.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 1st October at 360.78 points lower at 58,765.58. Nifty ended 86.10 points lower at 17,532.05.
Divis Labs, Hindalco Industries, NTPC, Bajaj Finserv and Tata Motors were among the major losers on the Nifty. Cipla, Grasim Industries, UPL, Eicher Motors and IOC were among the losers.
