Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on 11th October at 76.72 points higher at 60,135.78. Nifty ended 50.75 points higher at 17,945.95.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 08th October at 381.23 points higher at 60,059.06. Nifty ended 104.85 points higher at 17,895.20.
Tata Motors, Coal India, Maruti Suzuki, Grasim Industries and Power Grid Corp were among the major gainers on the Nifty. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, HCL Technologies and Wipro were among the big gainers.
