State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3310 to ₹3360/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3400 to 3490/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3360 to 3440/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3450 to 3500/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3700 to 3730/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3381 to 3491/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3481 to 3581
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3575 to 3640/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3625 to 3675/Qntl.

International Market:
Yesterday’s Closing:
On Friday sugar sugar prices closed higher on strength in crude oil. London White Sugar closed at $520/ton up $7.10 whereas New York Sugar closed up 0.21 points at 19.77 cents per pound.
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $513/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.57/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 75.350 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.5125 Crude futures traded at Rs.6289 Crude WTI traded at $82.88 a barrel. Sensex closed 459.64 points higher at 61,765.59 whereas Nifty ended 138.50 points higher at 18,477.05.
