Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on 21st October at 336.46 points lower at 60,923.50. Nifty ended 88.50 points lower at 18,178.10.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on 20 October at 456.09 points lower at 61,259.96. Nifty ended 152.15 points lower at 18,266.60.
Asian Paints, Hindalco Industries, Reliance Industries, Infosys and Dr Reddys Labs were among the major Nifty losers. Gainers included Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tata Motors, Grasim Industries, BPCL and HDFC.
