◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3330 to ₹3350/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3390 to 3450/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3350 to 3400/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3390 to 3450/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3675 to 3750/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3371 to 3511/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3481 to 3601
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3550 to 3625/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3600 to 3675/Qntl.

Yesterday sugar sugar prices closed higher. London White Sugar closed at $502.20/ton up $1.70 whereas New York Sugar at 18.97 cents per pound up closed 0.10 points
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $502.20/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.07/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 74.857 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.6469 Crude futures traded at Rs.6226 Crude WTI traded at $82.98 a barrel. Sensex closed 336.46 points lower at 60,923.50 whereas Nifty ended 88.50 points lower at 18,178.10.
