State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3310 to ₹3330/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3370 to 3430/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3330 to 3380/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3425 to 3455/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3730 to 3780/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3381 to 3491/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3501 to 3571/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3500 to 3600/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3575 to 3650/Qntl.

International Market:
Yesterday’s Closing:
On Monday sugar prices closed higher on concern of Brazilian sugar crop. London White Sugar closed at $506.10/ton up $0.70 whereas New York Sugar closed at 19.66 cents per pound up 0.27 points.
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $512.40/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.70/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 75.047 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.5648 Crude futures traded at Rs.6288 Crude WTI traded at $83.58 a barrel. Sensex closed 206.93 points lower at 61,143.33 whereas Nifty ended 57.45 points lower at 18,210.95
