Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on October 29 at 677.77 points lower at 59,306.93. Nifty ended 185.60 points lower at 17,671.65.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on October 28 at 1,158.63 points lower at 59,984.70. Nifty ended 353.70 points lower at 17,857.25.
Tech Mahindra, NTPC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IndusInd Bank and L&T were among the major Nifty losers. Gainers included UltraTech Cement, Maruti Suzuki, Cipla, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and Shree Cements.
