State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3280 to ₹3340/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3390 to 3450/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3350 to 3400/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3425 to 3475/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3725 to 3750/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3371 to 3481/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3471 to 3561/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3500 to 3600/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3600 to 3650/Qntl.

International Market:
Yesterday’s Closing:
Yesterday sugar prices closed lower. London White Sugar closed at $516.50/ton down $2.90 whereas New York Sugar closed at 19.62 cents per pound down 0.08points.
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $510.60/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.36/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 74.960 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.6450 Crude futures traded at Rs.6185 Crude WTI traded at $82.25 a barrel. Sensex closed 677.77 points lower at 59,306.93 whereas Nifty ended 185.60 points lower at 17,6721.65
