Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on November 3 at 257.14 points lower at 59,771.92. Nifty ended 59.75 points lower at 17,829.20.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on November 2 at 109.40 points lower at 60,029.06. Nifty ended 40.70 points lower at 17,888.95.
L&T, Grasim Industries, UPL, UltraTech Cement and Asian Paints were among the major Nifty gainers. Losers included Sun Pharma, IndusInd Bank, Bharti Airtel, Kotak Mahindra Bank and ICICI Bank.
