Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on November 16 at 396.34 points lower at 60,322.37. Nifty ended 110.25 points lower at 17,999.20.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on November 15 at 32.02 points higher at 60,718.71. Nifty ended 6.70 points higher at 18,109.45.
Shree Cements, Reliance Industries, Hindalco Industries, Tata Consumer Products, SBI were among the major Nifty losers. However, gainers included Maruti Suzuki, M&M, Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp and Tech Mahindra.
