Sugar Market Scenario:
The market witnessed moderate demand.
State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3180 to ₹3230/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3250 to 3280/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3250 to 3355/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3270 to 3335/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3500 to 3520/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3241 to 3301/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3341 to 3401/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3400 to 3450/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3450 to 3500/Qntl.

International Market:
Yesterday’s Closing:
Yesterday sugar prices closed lower on the outlook of Indian sugar exports. London White Sugar closed down $4.60 at $508.00/ton whereas New York Sugar closed at 19.76 cents per pound down 0.23 points.
Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $506.80/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 19.70/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.5870, Crude futures traded at Rs.5671 Crude WTI traded at $74.454 a barrel. Sensex closed 198.44 points higher at 58,664.33 whereas Nifty ended 86.80 points lower at 17,503.35.
