Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on December 4 at 949.32 points lower at 56,747.14. Nifty ended 284.45 points lower at 16,912.25.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on December 3 at 764.83 points lower at 57,696.46. Nifty ended 204.95 points lower at 17,196.70.
Except UPL, all other stocks under Nifty50 ended in the red with Coal India, IndusInd Bank, Tata Consumer Products, Bajaj Finserv and HCL Technologies were among the top Nifty losers.
