Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended flat today. Sensex closed on December 10 at 20.46 points lower at 58,786.67. Nifty ended 5.55 points lower at 17,511.30.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on December 9 at 157.45 points higher at 58,807.13. Nifty ended 47.10 points higher at 17,516.85.
Asian Paints, Grasim Industries, SBI, SBI Life Insurance and M&M were among the top Nifty gainers. Losers included Divis Labs, Titan Company, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Tata Consumer Products.
