Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on December 15 at 113.11 points higher at 57,901.14. Nifty ended 27.00 points higher at 17,248.40.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on December 14 at 166.33 points lower at 58,117.09. Nifty ended 43.35 points lower at 17,324.90.
Bajaj Finance, Infosys, BPCL, Titan Company and Reliance Industries were among the top Nifty gainers. Losers included Hindalco Industries, Cipla, Maruti Suzuki, ICICI Bank and Hero MotoCorp.
