Sugar output in Ukraine has reached 1.25 million tonnes up to December 17, 2021 (11,000 tonnes sugar processed during December 3-17).
As per the website of the Ukrtsukor National Association of Sugar Producers, total of 8.87 million tonnes of sugar beet was processed (more by 720,000 tonnes) during the mentioned period.
As per the data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the website, a total of 10.53 million tonnes of sugar beet (98.8% of the forecast) has been harvested by December 17 with a yield of 469.7 centners/ha. According to the website around 84.2% of the sugar beet has been processed to date.
