State wise prices today
◾ Maharashtra:S/30 Sugar rates from millers are ₹3230 to ₹3250/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3330 to 3350/Qntl.
◾ Karnataka : S/30 Sugar rates were ₹3300 to 3350/Qntl. whereas M/30 ₹3310 to 3400/Qntl.
◾ Uttar Pradesh: The rates for M/30 were at ₹3460 to 3490/Qntl.
◾ Gujarat: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3295 to 3411/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3361 to 3511/Qntl.
◾ Tamil Nadu: S/30 Sugar rates are ₹3460 to 3525/Qntl. whereas M/30 rates are at ₹3525 to 3550/Qntl.

International Market Today:
The London White Sugar front month contract is trading at $487.80/ton whereas the New York Sugar front month contract is trading at 18.62/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.7185, Crude futures traded at Rs.5285, Crude WTI traded at $69.75 a barrel. Sensex closed 497 points higher at 56319.01 whereas Nifty ended 156.65 points higher at 16,770.85
