Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. Sensex closed on December 27 at 295.93 points higher at 57,420.24. Nifty ended 82.50 points higher at 17,086.25.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on December 24 at 190.97 points lower at 57,124.31. Nifty ended 68.85 points lower at 17,003.75.
Tech Mahindra, Cipla, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, UPL and Kotak Mahindra Bank were among the top Nifty gainers on the Nifty. Losers were Hindalco Industries, Britannia Industries, IndusInd Bank, ONGC and Grasim Industries.
