Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended flat in the volatile session today. Sensex closed on January 14 at 12.27 points lower at 61,223.03. Nifty ended 2.05 points lower at 18,255.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on January 13 at 85.26 points higher at 61,235.30. Nifty ended 45.45 points higher at 18,257.80.
Asian Paints, Axis Bank, UPL, HUL and ONGC were the top Nifty losers, while gainers were Tata Consumer Products, IOC, TCS, Infosys an L&T.
