Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed on January 20 at 634.20 points lower at 59,464.62. Nifty ended 160.55 points lower at 17,777.85.
In the previous season, Sensex closed on January 19 at 656.04 points lower at 60,098.82. Nifty ended 174.65 points lower at 17,938.40.
Bajaj Finserv, Infosys, TCS, Divis Lab and Bajaj Auto were the top Nifty losers, while gainers included Power Grid Corporation, Bharti Airtel, Grasim Industries, JSW Steel and Britannia Industries.
