Batala (Beri): Four workers sustained serious injuries as hot water fell on them after a pipe in a boiler of a sugar mill burst suddenly, reports Punjab Kesari on Monday
According to the media report, Jaswinder Singh, workshop foreman of the sugar mill said, the incident occurred at 5 am today. The workers were on duty when suddenly a pipe in the boiler burst after the screw attached to it cracked and the hot water from it splashed on the workers. Four workers sustained injuries and they were immediately rushed to the civil hospital for treatment.
All are out of danger and are recovering, said the hospital authorities.
