Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed, on February 3, 770.31 points lower at 58,788.02. Nifty ended 219.80 points lower at 17,560.20.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on February 2, 695.76 points higher at 59,558.33. Nifty ended 203.15 points higher at 17,780.00.
Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Divis Labs, Maruti Suzuki and ITC were the top Nifty losers, while gainers included HDFC, NTPC, SBI Life Insurance, Grasim Industries and Infosys.
