Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended higher. Sensex closed, on February 15, 1,736.21 points higher at 58,142.05. Nifty ended 509.65 points higher at 17,352.45.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on February 12, 1,747.08 points lower at 56,405.84. Nifty ended 560.75 points lower at 16,814.00.
Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Finance, Shree Cements and Hero MotoCorp were the top Nifty gainers, while losers were Cipla and ONGC.
