Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed, on February 21, 149.38 points lower at 57,683.59. Nifty ended 69.65 points lower at 17,206.65.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on February 18, 59.04 points lower at 57,832.97. Nifty ended 28.30 points lower at 17,276.30.
Coal India, Hindalco, UPL, ONGC and Adani Ports were the top Nifty losers. Gainers included Wipro, Infosys, Shree Cements, Power Grid Corp and ICICI Bank.
