Mumbai: The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. Sensex closed, on March 24, 89.14 points lower at 57,595.68. Nifty ended 22.90 points lower at 17,222.75.
In the previous season, Sensex closed, on March 23, 304.48 points lower at 57,684.82. Nifty ended 69.85 points lower at 17,245.65.
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Coal India, Hindalco Industries, UltraTech Cement and Tech Mahindra were among the top Nifty gainers, while losers were Kotak Mahindra Bank, Titan Company, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and HDFC.
