The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. On April 26, Sensex closed 776.72 points higher at 57,356.61. Nifty ended 246.85 points higher at 17,200.80.
In the previous season, on April 25, Sensex closed 617.26 points lower at 56,579.89. Nifty ended 186.70 points lower at 16,985.25.
Bajaj Auto, Adani Ports, Hero MotoCorp, Power Grid Corp and M&M were among the top Nifty gainers while losers included ONGC, Apollo Hospitals, Axis Bank, Hindalco Industries and Asian Paints.
