The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. On May 9, Sensex closed 364.91 points lower at 54,470.67. Nifty ended 109.40 points lower at 16,301.85.
In the previous season, on May 6, Sensex closed 866.65 points lower at 54,835.58. Nifty ended 271.40 points lower at 16,411.25.
Reliance Industries, Hero MotoCorp, Nestle India, IndusInd Bank and Tata Steel were among the top Nifty losers, while gainers were Power Grid Corporation, HCL Technologies, Bajaj Auto, Infosys and Divis Labs.
