Argentina increases price of sugarcane-based bioethanol

Buenos Aires: Argentina government has increased the price of bioethanol made from sugarcane in the domestic market.

The Biofuel will now cost 80.561 pesos (68 U.S. cents) per liter, as per the energy department of the economy ministry.

According to the statement, the retroactive modification “will be effective for operations carried out as from May 9, 2022 and will be in force until the publication of a new price that replaces it.

The rates of the Biofuel are regularly updated in the country.
