The equity benchmark indices ended lower today. On May 25, Sensex closed 303.35 points lower at 53,749.26. Nifty ended 99.35 points low at 16,025.80.
In the previous season, on May 24, Sensex closed 236.00 points lower at 54,052.61. Nifty ended 89.55 points low at 16,125.15.
Asian Paints, Adani Ports, Divis Labs, UPL and TCS were among the top Nifty losers, while gainers included NTPC, HDFC Life, SBI Life Insurance, HDFC and Bharti Airtel.
