The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. On May 26, Sensex closed 503.27 points higher at 54,252.53. Nifty ended 144.35 points high at 16,170.15.
In the previous season, on May 25, Sensex closed 303.35 points lower at 53,749.26. Nifty ended 99.35 points low at 16,025.80.
Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Apollo Hospitals, SBI and HDFC Bank were among the top Nifty gainers, while losers included ITC, UPL, Divis Labs, Sun Pharma and Reliance Industries.
