The equity benchmark indices ended higher today. On May 30, Sensex closed 1,041.08 points higher at 55,925.74. Nifty ended 308.95 points high at 16,661.40.
In the previous season, on May 27, Sensex closed 632.13 points higher at 54,884.66. Nifty ended 182.30 points high at 16,352.45.
Buying interest in financial, IT, auto and FMCG shares pushed the headline indices higher.
