India is gaining new achievements in ethanol output every year by enhancing the production. Government has adopted various measures to boost the ethanol production. It is promoting ethanol manufacturing in a big way.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that government is promoting ethanol production in a big way and assured that it will procure all ethanol produced in the country.
He was addressing the convocation ceremony of the World University of Design (WUD).
This is one of the major steps to make our country self-reliant by increasing focus on rural agriculture and increasing production of ethanol.
“Ethanol is green fuel and its price is lower than that of petroleum, and it can be now produced using rice, wheat, and sugarcane juice,” he said.
Stating that he has a dream of making the ethanol economy worth Rs 5 lakh crore, Nitin Gadkari said nothing is impossible.
