Indices snapped four day losing streak on Thursday as it ended higher today. On June 09, Sensex closed 427.79 points higher at 55,320.28. Nifty ended 121.85 points higher at 16,478.10.
In the previous season, on June 08, Sensex closed 214.85 points lower at 54,892.49. Nifty ended 60.10 points low at 16,356.25.
The rupee slipped 13 paise to hit its intra-day record low of 77.81 against the US dollar on Thursday.
