International Trade Market
On Friday, sugar prices closed lower on worries of global economies. London sugar prices closed lower $14.40 at $564.30/tonne whereas NY sugar closed 0.42 cents lower at 18.87 c/lb.
At the time of writing this update, the London White Sugar #5 (SWK22) front month contract is trading at $568.20/ton, whereas the New York Sugar front month contract US sugar #11 (SBK22) is trading at 18.74 c/lb.
Currency, Commodity & Indian Indices:
The rupee traded against the US dollar at 77.992 whereas USD was trading with BRL at 5.1019, Crude futures traded at ₹9541, Crude WTI traded at $122.36/barrel. Sensex closed 153.13 points lower at 52,693.57 whereas Nifty ended 42.30 points lower at 15,732.10.
