Equity Indices ended lower today. On July 1, Sensex closed 111.01 points lower at 52,907.93. Nifty ended 28.20 points lower at 15,752.05.
In the previous season, on June 30, Sensex closed 8.03 points lower at 53,018.94. Nifty ended 18.85 points lower at 15,780.25.
ONGC, Reliance Industries Power Grid Corporation, Bajaj Auto and Bharti Airtel were among the top Nifty losers. ITC, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Britannia Industries and Cipla were among the gainers on the index.
