Chandigarh: State government is undertaking different projects in the sugar mills to improve their economic conditions, said Haryana Cooperation Minister Banwari Lal.
Once the economic conditions of the mills strengthen, the sugarcane farmers will get payment on time, he said while speaking at the inauguration programme of the sale of ethanol produced at 60 KLPD Ethanol Plant, Shahbad Cooperative Sugar Mills Ltd, on Monday.
The government has paid the cane dues of sugarcane farmers associated with the cooperative sugar mills, which have been deposited directly into their accounts, he said.
