Equity Indices ended higher today. On July 27, Sensex closed 547.83 points higher at 55,816.32. Nifty ended 157.95 points higher at 16,641.80.
In the previous season, on July 26, Sensex closed 497.73 points lower at 55,268.49. Nifty ended 147.15 points lower at 16,483.85.
Sun Pharma, SBI, L&T, Divis Labs and Asian Paints were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, UPL and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
