Equity Indices ended on lower note today. On August 04, Sensex closed 51.73 points lower at 58,298.80. Nifty ended 6.15 points lower at 17,382.00.
In the previous season, on August 03, Sensex closed 214.17 points higher at 58,350.53. Nifty ended 42.70 points higher at 17,388.15.
Cipla, Sun Pharma, Nestle India, Infosys and Apollo Hospitals were among the major gainers on the Nifty. The losers included NTPC, Tata Consumer Products, Coal India, SBI and Reliance Industries.
