Equity Indices ended on higher note today. On August 11, Sensex closed 130.18 points higher at 59,462.78. Nifty ended 39.15 points higher at 17,698.15.
In the previous season, on August 10, Sensex closed 515 points higher at 59,332. Nifty ended 124 points higher at 17,659.
ONGC, Tata Steel, NTPC, UPL and Power Grid Corp were among the major Nifty gainers. The losers included Divis Lab, Apollo Hospitals, Infosys, Maruti Suzuki and Tata Consumer Products.
