Bajpur, Uttarakhand: After inspecting the sugar mill and co-unit distillery, the commissioner of Kumaun has asked the administration to speed up the repair and maintenance work of the machinery, reports Dainik Jagran.
Commissioner has asked the mill administration to ensure that the mill is ready on time to crush the available cane, so that any inconvenience could be avoided in the upcoming season.
He also instructed the officials to ensure that the women workers get their wages as per the norms after they brought to his notice that they are paid less than what they should get.
