Benchmark indices ended higher today. On September 13, Sensex closed 455.95 points higher at 60,571.08. Nifty ended 133.70 points higher at 18,070.05.
In the previous season, on September 12, Sensex closed 321.99 points higher at 60,115.13. Nifty ended 103.00 points higher at 17,936.35.
FMCG stocks also led the rally with Britannia and Tata Consumer Products surging 2.5 percent, among the top Nifty gainers. IT stocks ended the day lower as TCS, HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra ended the day in red.
