Rudrapur, Uttarakhand: Congress party workers under the leadership of MLA Tilakraj Behar met the executive director of the sugar mill, Trilok Singh Martolia, and demanded to increase cane crushing target of the mill, reports Live Hindustan.
MLA Behar met the mill administration officials on Thursday and discussed with them several issues related to the sugar mill.
He said that the mill administration should increase the target of cane crushing for the upcoming crushing season and the priority should be given to the local people for providing jobs in the mill. He also asked the mill administration to start crushing season in time.
Executive Director Martolia assured him that the mill will start cane crushing operations in the first week of November.
